PURPOSE
The Diocesan Archives is the official repository for the administrative records of Bishops, Diocesan offices and departments, institutions, agencies, priests, permanent deacons and religious orders. In addition, it contains the annual reports of parishes and schools, deeds, construction files, blueprints, photographs, microfilmed sacramental records, and permanent financial records. A vertical file of historical information and a reference library are available.
POLICY
We encourage and are open to access to the Archives for scholarly research, in keeping with the precepts of canon and civil law, and the protection of legitimate rights to privacy and confidentiality.
