Campus and Young Adult Ministry
Mission Statement

“Campus Ministry is the embodiment of the Church on campus. Campus Ministry forms a Catholic Christian Community through worship, reflection on the faith, peer ministry, and outreach to the university at large. Through the efforts of this ministry, Catholic students are ‘empowered by the Spirit’ to realize the kingdom of God on campus and become prepared to contribute to the Church following their college years.”1

“Young adult ministry is the Church’s response to the needs of young adults. The Church invites them to share their gifts with the larger community, and challenges them to live Gospel values in the world. On a diocesan, parish, or one-to-one level, young adult ministers encourage young adults to live faithful lives, build community within an intergenerational Church, and serve in the world.”2
