We're Making a Difference

Mission

Through a partnership with parents and faculty, the MACS Education Foundation raises additional funds to support programs that will achieve excellence in Catholic Education and have a meaningful and lasting impact on all students.

We fulfill our mission by

  • Providing academic enhancement for our children through support for curriculum enhancement such as additional books, CDs, tapes, new learning software, assessment tools, academic games, new computer and other hardware.
  • Supporting professional development by providing funds for our teachers to obtain training, attend conferences, share and learn best practices from other academic professionasl and share this knowledge with their students and colleagues.
  • Focusing on spiritual development of the student by supporting religious education and experiences that guide students toward a deeper relationship with Christ.

Purpose

Established in 1993, the MACS Education Foundation has raised over $5 million dollars to provide quality Catholic education. Gifts are raised from parents, family and friends of MACS through our Bridge to Excellence Annual Giving Campaign, which kicks-off in the fall and runs on a fiscal year July 1 to June 30, and through the generosity of companies as part of their matching gift program.

Our Board of Directors, comprised of MACS parents and business leaders, manages our Foundation throughout the years. The board's efforts are directed toward sound management of the Foundation's assets with the leadership and guidance from the Development Office of the Diocese of Charlotte.
