As you prepare for a lifelong commitment to one another in marriage, the Church celebrates with you and wishes to offer its support. The entire process of getting married – the sessions with the clergy, a pre-marriage inventory, introduction to Natural Family Planning, and the program of instruction – are all efforts to support you as an engaged couple.
On Saturdays throughout the year, from 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., the diocesan Family Life program offers one-day marriage preparation workshops to help couples continue to build a solid foundation for their marriage. The format for the workshop, sponsored by Catholic Social Services, includes presentations, journaling, private partner-to-partner discussions, and small and large group discussions.

Workshop topics include:
- Marriage as Sacrament and Covenant Families of Origin and Procreation
- Marital Sexuality and Natural Family Planning
- Communication and Conflict Resolution
- Money and Finances

What’s the cost? A $99 fee is charged and covers the cost of lunch, snacks, all materials and an introduction to Natural Family Planning. The fee is required in order for a registration form to be processed.
