Bishops Issue Call to Action Over Abortion Funding Plan
Bishop Peter J. Jugis of Charlotte and Bishop Michael F. Burbidge of the Diocese of Raleigh have issued a joint statement through Catholic Voice North Carolina criticizing the UNC health care plan that requires pro-life students to underwrite abortions.
Catholics everywhere are marking the 100th birthday of Mother Teresa this month. A Mass in her honor was held Aug. 26 at St. Patrick Cathedral in Charlotte. Bishop Peter J.
